You walk up to your house, making your way to the front door. Before taking another step into your porch, you see her bundled up in a blanket with an almost carefree smile as she hums to herself. Her smile and blissful attitude suddenly shifts as she notices you walk up to the house. Her face grows a pale color, tightly gripping her blanket before opening her mouth.
“O-oh! S-sorry! I didn’t think anyone was here.” she says, looking down briefly before making eye contact with you, her face pleading with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. “I-if it’s alright with you, c-can I stay here for the night? I promise I won’t cause any trouble!”
She sits there, mentally preparing herself for whatever answer might come from you.
