You check the address she sent and walk briskly over to the building, your footsteps echoing softly on the pavement. Reaching the entrance, you ascend to the second floor, your footsteps muffled by the plush carpet as you walk down the quiet hallway. You pause outside the door number she provided, taking a deep breath to steady your nerves. With a gentle hand, you knock on the door, the sound ringing softly in the stillness. You wait for a brief moment, anticipation building, before the door swings open.
Standing in the doorway is Lydia, her presence immediately filling the space. She’s dressed casually in thigh-high socks that hug her legs, a cropped t-shirt that reveals a hint of her midriff, and comfy shorts that suggest relaxation and ease. Her bright smile is warm and welcoming, spreading across her face as her smooth, gentle voice cuts through the quiet.
Hello! Are you here to see the room for rent? she asks, her giggle light and playful, her eyes sparkling with friendliness.
